By taking an academic research approach to looking at the future of work, CRTKL is making future predictions of the world of work based on the history of the workplace, the economy/business cycle, globalization, geopolitical volatility, climate change, urbanization, and artificial intelligence. And we want to know what you think! Discussion will focus on time frame increments of: 0-5 years, 6-10 years, and 25+ years. With laser beam focus, we will examine: The Worker, Work Location, and The Building. Our thoughts are predictions and describe overarching trends as opposed to prescriptive workplace advancements. Just what can you expect in the future? Get ready for a little mind blowing . . .!!!

Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
Learn predicted changes in the type of work that the world will require, the ways in which employees prefer to work and its impact on the workplace.
Understand changes in modes of transportation and how those changes will influence the work commute and office location.
Explore innovations in building design and construction and its impact on the physical workplace.
Identify specific changes in the design, use, and operation of the workplace in three time frames: short, medium, and long-term.
