George Athens' 25+ year career has been built on a set of professional endeavors that blend architecture, building services engineering, and information technology. He has worked domestically as well as internationally including: Europe, The Middle East and Asia giving him a wide lens through which to view the industry. He specializes in exploring how rapidly advancing technologies are reshaping how we think about built environments and as well as how we design. Among George’s passions is the transformation of workplace design based on data-supported human wellness creating high performing environments. He has presented on this subject at NeoCon East in Philadelphia as well as at vendor sponsored events during the AIA Convention in Philadelphia and Green Build in Washington DC.
