Given the rapid pace of change occurring all around us today, the global workforce is as diverse and complex as it has ever been. Each day, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials and Generation Z coexist in our workplaces. Given this diversity and the unique preferences of each generation, company leaders are now challenged to provide workplaces that appeal to traditionally independent employees and the collaborative, entrepreneurial individuals who continue to make up more and more of today’s talent pool. In the race to attract and retain top talent, the role of the workplace is powerfully critical. This presentation will highlight how organizational leaders can build a strategy for their workplace to help them accommodate all generations with a special focus on attracting emerging talent. It will anchor itself around the key questions each company needs to ask itself to begin to define its goals and core strategy. The presentation incorporates extensive data, numerous case studies from some of today’s leading companies and a deep look at the needs and traits of the next generation of talent. The presentation will also focus on how Millennials are beginning to manage Generation Z, and the changes this will drive for workplaces moving forward. Ultimately, the presentation will provide an in-depth look at how companies can leverage their workplace to recruit and retain top talent today and in the future. It will demonstrate how company leaders can build a platform for workplace evolution that positions their company for success.
