Facilities teams are often frustrated at what should be a seamless, handoff process of a close-out package once construction of a new building is completed. Instead, they experience significant delays in close-out delivery that frequently includes documents they can’t use – i.e. BIM models, CAD files, etc.
How can a modern facilities manager break the norm of being provided with the traditional paper / CD / thumb drive deliverable and adopt a more functional tool that facilities teams can use now?
Attendees at this session will learn about trends, best practices and available technology solutions that will accelerate delivery of digital construction closeout packages that can be used immediately by facilities teams. Teams that adopt these tools can also expect to simultaneously improve productivity, provide higher levels of building occupant service, complete more preventive maintenance tasks and shore up succession planning.
